People say things happen for a reason.
You may not realise it initially, but you will in time.
Sigh.
I really can't see the light.
Torch, anyone?

Tribute to Mr Jacko
Today marks the loss of a great talent, The King of Pop.
He was constantly looking for perfection, going through all those painful operations and surgeries, to look his best. Just so that he would be accepted by the shallow community. Yet, they still remained unhappy with his looks and criticize him even more.
He was always looking for love. He just had so much love to give. He took care of those in needs, giving them whatever he could. Yet, people criticize, bash and scrap a whole lot of cash out of him.
With all his best intention and great effort, he didn’t get what he was looking for. Yet, he remained composed of the whole situation. He still gave what they wanted. Imagine how big and sincere his heart is? Ironically, he died out of heart failure.
He was misunderstood, love deprived and alone.
Which brings to the question :
Do all the great talents (e.g Michael Jackson, Heath Ledger, PRamlee, Sudirman) with big hearts and good intentions be underappreciated and critically bashed during their lifetimes and only get the recognition that they deserve when they are gone?
I guess there are some truths in the saying, ‘We only appreciate things or people when it’s no longer there or not available for us’. (In some case, it’s just too late).
And sadly too, most of these people felt so alone in this world and they felt no one could understand them.
Life can be quite harsh. Or rather some people.
P/S : The writing is based on my personal point of view. I was not really a fan of his but I grew up with his songs. It’s just sad by the loss of a great talent and how ironic things turn out to be. He will be dearly missed. May he rest in peace.

Drained & Losing Faith
Need to seek other option.
I thought I didn't have to go through it again. Not for a little while.
But looks like the situation is pushing me to do so.
I hate the waiting game.
It's full of uncertainties.
Even with all the hardship and scrutiny, it doesn't seem to work.
I'm drained and losing faith.

Morning Walk
Brisk walk at the park in the morning gives me a refreshing feeling.
The beautifully set-up garden lets the metropolis enjoy the experience of appreciating nature in between the skyscrapers. :)
The sun smiles brightly, keeping the beautiful flowers alive.
I'm meeting two of my love-lings after work.
Yayyyy!

Take The Leap?
Perhaps, I should take that leap.
Maybe, it'll help me to give an objective.
Or maybe, it'll tie me down and create an obligatory towards commitment.
Or maybe, it'll knock me some sense of responsibility.
After all, most people I know are doing okay with it.
In fact they are enjoying every moment of it.
So, what is there to be afraid of?

Cultural Sunday
It was a hot Sunday afternoon, but it didn't stop them from enjoying the catchy music, exotic delicacies and flows of drinks.
Everyone seemed so alive and warm. Exchanging smiles to one another. Enthusiastically, telling all the beautiful stories about their homeland.
It felt like being in a foreign land for a while.
Simply casual but whole lot of fun!

Dream A Little Dream of Me
I had a wonderful dream last night.
It was one of the best dreams ever.
I'm still smiling over it. People might think I'm crazy.
Oh well.
Hopefully, it'll come true.

Education System
I only read this, this morning!
Somebody should really think of ways to improve our education system.

Annual Program Review
A dear friend of mine invited a few others and myself for an event she was organising.
She told us, it was just a brief discussion with the lecturers reviewing on our bachelor's degree program.
We turned up tad bit late and to our surprise, it was actually a forum and we were amongst the panels! Errrkkkk!!! :-$
We just went on with it anyway.
The host imposed three questions to the panel mainly on :-
(a) how has the program been beneficial and contributed to the development/enhancement of your career?
(b) how has the student welfare and affair being handled? how do you find the activities being held around campus?
(c) are you satisfied with the facilities provided?
As a whole, I would say that the program was average. It may have been the same elsewhere except that few lectures had emphasis on presentations where it had helped some of the students in developing their soft skills. Activities around campus was limited during my time and most of the activities didn't interest me except for the sports activities. But from what I heard, the activities held these days are more varied, which is good and they should encourage more on that. One of the speakers mentioned that he doesn't find the use in joining those activities as the fees are on the high side. Hence, passing those exams is what matters. I beg to differ on that, as I believe that a fun environment should be created as it will cheer up the students and they would enjoy their learning process more. After all, we only go through university life once. So, why not make it more fun? As for the facilities, I would say it had been satisfactory.
IMHO, our education system (I'm not just referring to my uni years, I'm referring as a whole) is quite defective and it's all about exams. All we care about is passing those grades (with flying colours). This has resulted to creating generations who only know to memorise things and don't understand concepts or the whole ideas. We need to think of ways to develop thinking skills.
Another thing would be to create a more warm environment so that the students would be happy to gain knowledge rather than dread for classes.
P/S : My university life was not the highlight of my life. I know many might have enjoyed their uni years, but it wasn't that way for me. And I'm quite sad it wasn't! :(

Of Salvation
Went to catch Salvation after my exams.
Wasn't up to par.
Connor was not-too-heroic.
Lack of flesh-flashing scenes of him.
