Internet Dating vs Arranged Marriage

Strange, how some people find it's okay to go for internet dating

BUT

arranged marriage is a TOTAL DOOM?

If it's somebody of your parents choice, don't you think they've done some research? Fair enough, people might say you can't based a judgement just solely from a person's family background and how that person is brought up. But if that's the case, what makes you so sure that some stranger on the other side of the screen is even real?

I'm not against either of them. I just find it funny when people try so hard to justify themselves just because they're in that situation. :)
