I was watching Oprah the other night and it featured 'Twilight' for the fanatics.
Apparently, there was a group of mothers who are Twilight fanatics. The co-host interviewed the mums and what made them so crazy about the show.
The mothers said, 'it reminded us, the feeling of first love'.
First love/teen love is certainly different.
It is full of infatuation. We tend to go great measure for first love. It felt as though that was the only love that we felt was meant for us. Without it, we would just die. Haha.
Truth is, we were just young. We were idealistic. We were driven by our emotions.
As we grow older, we tend to look at things in a broader perspective. We would go for something more practical. A great company would just be sufficient.
And sometimes, that high-school crush/college-fling/first-love is not the person who we really would want to end up with.
