It was an adaptation of the famous film 'Cinta'.
I went last night. Overall was ok, didn't quite feel the love. The show started quite late, at almost 9pm, supposedly scheduled at 8.30pm. Quite disrespectful. There wasn't any VIP in the audience that they were waiting to arrive.
IMHO, about the show:
- Selection of casts were quite big mixture :
- Safura and Latiff Ibrahim : not bad. Latiff Ibrahim still has got the powerful voice. *salute*
- Tony Eusoff and Norish Karman : Didn't think their performance was strong.
- Shajiry and Faradhiya : Shajiry was ok, partly over-acting. Faradhiya was impressive, good voice and and pulled quite a great act.
- Vince and Nadia : Vince has great voice, but he only sang once or twice. Nadia was too jumpy.
- Deja Moss and Anding : Both pulled great acts and great voices! Oh come on, Deja Moss?? What else could you ask for. Her husky voice is way too powerful.
- Props : same props through out the show. Kinda boring.
- Songs : were really great! A lot of old songs by famous singers e. Aishah, Sheila Majid, Search. Makes you think where has all those beautiful songs gone too? Why can't current songwriters compose like those days anymore?
